Nutec offers the following workshops on an in-house and public basis:


Instructional Techniques

Learn how to deliver training that works! This workshop covers specific, practical skills that significantly improve an instructor's performance in the classroom.

Who Should Attend

This workshop is designed for new and seasoned instructors. For new instructors, the workshop will provide basic instructional skills. For the seasoned instructor, it offers an opportunity to discover what's new in training technology and a chance to try fresh approaches.

Each participant will prepare and deliver several mini training sessions in the workshop. The number of participants will be restricted to 8, ensuring maximum interaction.

Course Design

A challenging workshop that provides practical skills for developing courseware. It covers each step of the instructional design cycle from the initial training needs analysis to the final evaluation. However, the focus of this workshop is on the task analysis and course development activities. It will enable trainers to develop courses that produce measurable results.

Coaching Skills

Skills for training on the job. This is a hands-on workshop that covers the basic skills required to prepare, deliver and evaluate one-to-one and small group training sessions.

Who Should Attend

People who are not full time trainers but who must conduct on the job training. This workshop has been very useful to people involved in end-user, apprenticeship and customer training.

Developing Self-Paced Learning

Description

An intensive workshop which provides hands-on experience at developing effective instructional materials that allow people to learn at their own pace. It emphasizes course development techniques and practical writing skills applicable to distance education and computer based instruction as well.

Who Should Attend

Instructors or course designers who prepare instructional materials and project managers responsible for editing these materials.
